The year is 2030. The Earth's population exceeds the 6 billion we have today to
8,321,380,000, which is a 20% increase. The population density breaks the 40 people per square mile mark (not just on land). India's population (projected to be 1,523,482,000) will surpass China's total population. But Nigeria will have the largest growth, with a 62% increase in 2030. These statistics show the magnitude of our overpopulation issue. If we do not change our ways, we could eventually use up all the resources on Planet Earth, making it uninhabitable.
